English for Kids & Teens (pdf link)
After School English with Canadian native speaker Kari Ann
English through activity – singing, speaking, reading and crafting. Newcomers are welcome to join at anytime!
For children age 6-9
Mondays, 3:45 to 4:45 pm
For teenager age 10-14
Mondays, 2:30 to 3:30 pm
Morning Conversation Group
Different topics relating to American culture will be discussed within the group. The discussions will be based on texts, but the emphasis of the course will be on improving conversation skills, building vocabulary, and on gaining a deeper understanding of the American way of life.
English Language Course for Advanced Students
For those who want to freshen up their English and improve your speaking abilities. This course is designed to increase your knowledge of the English language and discuss issues on the USA in general. Participants should have the equivalent of seven years of school English
Getting Started Again: Conversation with Confidence (Level A2/B1)
Expand your fluency and confidence in speaking English in a small group (a maximum of 6 participants). If you don’t have regular contact with the language, this is a good way to practice and improve your level. Interesting topics and a variety of language activities from English language publications (all available in the DAI library) provide the background to this course which aims to develop both confidence and comprehension in conversation skills. Level: 3 to 5 years of school English or equivalent knowledge.
