We are offering a joint Key Club and Toastmasters cooperation to help you develop your public speaking, gain confidence and develop leadership skills. Our aim is to guide all in taking leadership in speaking, providing feedback and combining elements of the Key Club and Toastmasters in eight interactive sessions, spanning from March until July.
Each session has a fixed topic, such as arts and music, language or health. The meetings consist of two parts. The first part is a prepared speech by a Key Club member about any aspect of choice within the topic. They will then receive feedback from the other participants, short feedback from everyone and more elaborate feedback from our experienced partners at Toastmasters. The second part is a discussion related to the topic of the session, prepared and led by a member of the Key Club. Their job is to provide input, ask relevant questions and involve the group.
The program also offers the opportunity to get support from an experienced Toastmaster while preparing for your role and to obtain a Toastmasters certificate at the end of the program. If you would like to acquire a certificate, you will need to actively attend at least six out of eight meetings, which involves preparing at least one speech and one discussion for different sessions. Everyone is welcome to join any session spontaneously! We will be meeting during regular Key Club times – every other Wednesday from 5PM until 6:30 PM. If you want to sign up for our cooperation or if you have any further questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The first session is March 10th.
Looking forward to hearing from you and jumping into this very interactive 8 Session Program.
