Teacher Training (online): Film Analysis in the Classroom
The aim of this seminar is to provide a solid grounding in film analysis so that teachers will feel more confident working with film in the classroom. Participants receive an introduction to the visual language of cinema by focusing on each of the techniques of filmmaking in turn: the mise-en-scène, cinematography, editing and sound. The seminar includes close analysis of selected film clips.
Due to the Coronavirus, the class will take place online (Zoom) over four one-and-a-half hour meetings. Additional resources will also be available on an online platform.
